Daryl Johnson, 52, of St. Ansgar, Iowa, is a January 6th rioter who received a 30-day sentence after pleading guilty to felony civil disorder charge (his son, who also was a J6 rioter, also pleaded guilty and served 4 months on similar charges). He also owns a car wash, a couple of laundromats, and a tanning salon.
Johnson was arrested in January of this year on charges that he filmed women in states of undress without their knowledge at his tanning salon in Clear Lake, Iowa. Johnson ultimately pleaded guilty to 4 counts of invasion of privacy and was sentenced last week.
For the 4 counts, which are state misdemeanor charges, Johnson will serve a total of 6 months (45 days per charge, served consecutively), be fined $4,000, and will be required to register as a sex offender.
