founded 2023 by captainfactoid — Comments and stories, with tips on how to get started. It's easier than you might think - and there is more help available.
founded 2023 by AVeng — This will be the community for news, histories, and opinions related to (larger) South Asia: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Myanmar.
founded 2023 by cweinsch — This group hopes to build on research suggesting the "double haters"--people who dislike both Biden and Trump and those that voted HRC and Trump or Trump and Biden in the last two cycles. Research suggests these folks are unaware of Biden's accomplishments. When informed, they approve and reward Biden with higher approval ratings. I am gauging interest in setting up a web/social media presence aimed at this group and am seeking SEO and social media experts and writers. Please respond if you are interested.
founded 2023 by Stude Dude — for Autistic members of the Daily Kos.
founded 2023 by Stude Dude — "I'm telling ya, sonny, they done was the bestest car they don't make no more!" A group for Studebaker buffs.
founded Jan 2024 by 2thanks — We've created the Boosting Biden group and invite Readers and members of Daily Kos to Follow this group so that the group's weekday diaries fall effortlessly into their Daily Kos Streams (inbox).
founded Jan 2024 by 2thanks — to create a dynamic collective of Daily Kos members who are interested in and committed to broadcasting diaries of the Boosting Biden group on social media. That group promotes the accomplishments of the Biden-Harris Administration five days per week, Monday through Friday. We will create a reference diary with updated lists of and links to who posts on which social-media platforms.
founded Jan 2024 by polecat — Bad diaries that I can't flag but wish I could.
founded Jan 2024 by Jack Harich — Our purpose is to learn, develop, apply, and promote the tools needed for an effective problem-solving approach to achieving progressive goals. Some of the tools are root cause analysis, social force diagrams, and causal loop diagrams. Use of tools like these means we seek to take an analytical rather than an intuitive approach to solving progressive problems.

Resources for operating DK groups:
<big>Click on the #NewDKGroups tag HERE,</big> or in the Tag List at the foot of the post, to see all the diaries posted in this series. At most of them, there’s a varying range of information on group dynamics, how to make contact, the differing tasks/abilities of admins vs editors vs contributor-level members, and so on. Many also list related groups in addition to the new ones.
Basic Group Mechanics & Info on How to Follow Them, How to contact them in order to request reblogging or request to join to reblog & write for them, etc
Messages/kosmails to a group will NOT generate a New Message alert to anyone — not at the envelope icon at the top of anyone’s blogview page, and not in anyone’s WELCOME BACK box on the ‘ol’fashion pages.
So, rather than kosmail to an entire group when asking to join, requesting diary republication, inviting shared activity with another group you’re in, etc., click on MEMBERS at the group’s homepage…
… to see the admins, editors and contribs, listed by order of how recently active. Then click on the name of an admin active within the current week or so. That will take you to her/his/eir personal dk homepage, so you can message/kosmail to them individually. (Be aware that groups aren’t obligated to add new members, keep any, reblog, or post anything: it’s up to the admins, who may be hardworking people with their hands full already.)
If you’re interested in reading at but not writing for a group, click on the group’s FOLLOW button in the lefthand column of its homepage, for automatic delivery into your activity stream of all posts in the group’s feed (stories/articles/diaries originated at the group plus everything reblogged/republished there.
To reach your own activity stream, click on your own name/avatar at the top right corner of any blockview page — thank you to Angela Marx for this screenshot of hers— you’ll get the dropdown menu more or less as shown, giving links to all your own pages. (The red arrow is pointing to “My Activity Stream”).
