No really if anyone has a clue please tell me Bill Gates shorted Tesla recently because he thought their stock price could not go up forever without an equal rise in profits I suspect Bill will short Amazon the next time gas prices go up with our next war for oil.
43% is the average for Warehouse Worker turnover rates
FEBRUARY 17, 2022.
It costs $8,500 dollars to replace a warehouse worker.
Sound like a lot? Well, that’s actually the low end.
Calculating just the direct, trackable dollars, the cost to replace one warehouse worker can reach 25% of that worker’s salary. Using an average warehouse associate salary of around $34,000 (Glassdoor), $8,500 is about where you end up. But the real costs, when you factor in lost productivity and other indirect impacts, are much, much higher.

The latest figures from the Bureau of Labor Statistics put annual warehouse turnover rates at 43%. www.kanelogistics.com/...
But Amazon has over 150% worker turnover rates but at $8,500 cost to replace an Employee
24 January 2024. Amazon is notorious for its high turnover rate and oppressive working conditions in its warehouses. Workers are tracked to nearly every movement and high demands are placed on workers to fulfill their quotas and performance metrics. This highly demanding working environment has created one of the highest turnover rates in the world, at 150 percent a year, according to an investigation by the New York Times. That means that the number of people who quit or are fired each year is higher than total employment at the company. And of those who are hired, 70 percent leave within 90 days,
Such a high turnover rate is expensive, costing Amazon an estimated $8 billion every year. www.wsws.org/...
One can’t help but wonder if Amazon makes more money off of Dead peasant Insurance $25,000 just for me a part time worker than they make off of actual employees that work $9.62 a week for health insurance again just for me a part time worker
Given an average cost of $8,500 to replace a warehouse worker on average probably more to replace me much more Fastest Stower of packages at my old warehouse for a time, Fastest Puller, working the ramp yes the fastest again now I take it easy at my new warehouse but I still get hurt working hard. My expertise working hard would be hard to replace I’ve seen college kids quit in one day.
On the other hand I see 60? or more year old Men and Women do this job. We all need Healthcare much more than we need life insurance.
Why worry about when your dead if you can’t afford to live?
Rome fought wars for slaves until they could not afford to anymore seems slaves don’t work as hard as regular workers.
America hopefully is done with wars for oils but we need to end wage slavery if we are to avoid Rome’s fate. I have no idea how Amazon makes more money off of Dead Workers than they do Healthy Workers but numbers don’t lie. Life Insurance $25,000 healthcare $9.62 a week
