Now that ISIS has released first person videos from the attack it is extremely unlikely that this was anything but an ISIS terror attack. On Putin’s watch. With him dismissing multiple warnings. And his goons standing by while people were dying.
This will be probably shorter than it should be — reviewing the videos in various channels, I stumbled upon one of a detained suspected perpetrator of the attack where his ear is cut off and he is forced to eat it. No, I will not link to it. Another detainee appears to have an eye busted out. There is no video of him being forced to eat it. Anyway, this is borderline too fucked up even for me, and I’ve seen some fucked-up shite in my day.
1. Four days before the attack, Putin addressed the FSB officers. He told them that he had received warnings about terror attacks in Russia from “the official Western power structures,” said that these warnings were to be dismissed as provocations, and instructed FSB to look for terror acts from the West, similar to “Nord Stream blasts” (if the video does not forward automatically, advance it to timestamp 25:12).
2. Despite multiple videos of the alleged terrorists’ car (complete with license plates) being posted online almost instantly, the car was only intercepted about 400 km from Moscow, based on the video geotags. Trigger warning for the video, it’s pretty violent. Note that from this location it would be way easier to drive into Belarus than into Ukraine — through a fucking warzone.

There are also concerns that the body types of the terrorists in multiple videos from the shooting scene are inconsistent with those of the people who did get arrested (forward the video to 10:37 if necessary). www.youtube.com/…
3. It took Putin’s “law enforcement” an inexplicably long time to respond to the act of terror. Even after arriving, they did not storm the building: instead they started beating up journalists.
4. Putin sat cacking his britches for nearly 24 hours before addressing the nation. His address was literally mealy-mouthed: no mobilization declaration, not even directly trying to blame Ukraine (which is what his stooges are trying to do, no matter how implausible).
What can I say for sure? Regardless of anything else, Putin now owns this. He promised Russians security in exchange for complacency. He failed to deliver. And even from inside the bubble of his unreality forcefield, the bald-pated fuck knows it.
