Let's be honest. Eventually it's difficult for us to be surprised with the slime that the Mario Diaz-Balart campaign is throwing against the wall, hoping for anything to stick. But the latest twist in this sad story of the fall of an inept political dynasty would be almost funny if it were a movie, and not real life.
As you all know, Diaz-Balart has been trying to label Joe Garcia as Enron Joe, even though he never had a relationship with Enron. They have gone so far as to blame Joe for the Enron scandal.
Here’s the kicker: He and his big brother, Lincoln (R-Inc), have received thousands in campaign cash from Enron or their lobbyists in the past.
The great news is that momentum is on our side. Polls are showing us making huge strides with Independents and the early vote numbers are awesome. Here are the early vote numbers by party affiliation:
DEM - 47.8%
REP - 31.9%
IND - 20.2%
The big 'Mo' is with us!
Our positive message of a new direction and new priorities for south Florida is resonating.
You have done so much for us so far, but you can do more. I invite all of you, especially if you live in cold weather, to come down to Miami for the last days and get involved.
We have tons for you to do. If you cannot, I ask you to help in any other way possible.
Thanks again.
See you on the other side of Victory!
