In yet another last minute stimulus measure, undertaken by President Bush in these last days of his administration, the American Executive has begun a stimulus for the Turkish economy that has this worn out Kog thinking, hey, maybe I should move to Turkey.
Serkan Turk, general manager of the Turkish business Baydan’s said:
Mr. Bush served some good purpose to the economy before he left.
Baydan's is a Turkish shoe manufacturer. Not just any footware. Baydan's footwear are particularly, to the surprise of the designer of one particular brand, aerodynamic.
"We have been producing that specific style, which I personally designed, for 10 years, so I couldn’t have missed it, no way," said Ramazan Baydan, a shoemaker in Istanbul. "As a shoemaker, you understand."
Orders for the Ducati Model 271 have skyrocketed, with a new run of 15,000 order going to Iraq soon, 18,000 to an American company, and 95,000 to a British Distruibutor.
I expect a large marketing contract to be awarded to Muntader al-Zaidi, if he gets out of this alive. If not, I would hope that donations would be made to the prosecution of Bush administration officials for war crimes.
In the mean time, I would like to congratulate the workers who make this particular brand of shoe on their continued employment. Perhaps your company will be opening a factory in Iraq soon, since it is the new model for capitalism in the middle east.
