Timroff’s quilt top, “Terraced Garden”
andsarahtoo, who you know from Chronic Tonic and GUS, has lupus, a terrible disease that attacks the brain. We are making a community quilt (a "love catcher") for her (diary went up this past Monday) and collecting messages from you to her to be inscribed in archival ink on muslin – the powerful part of the quilt. The rest of it is will be colorful fabrics that will be meaningful to her.
So far, we have 23 messages. We need to have either 68 or 72 to do the design that is in mind for her. If you have not already left a message for andsarahtoo, please leave one in a comment below. If you would like to contribute to the costs of the quilt which will be similar to the ones made for Kitsap River and Dreaming of Better Days (materials and a bit of my time, figured for this more complicated design at about $5 per message) kindly use this PayPal link or email me for a snailmail address. It is not necessary to donate to leave a message. Anything collected above and beyond the cost of andsarahtoo's quilt will be put toward Brubs' quilt which we will be collecting messages for on Monday.
