What Are You Working On is a community diary series for all things crafty, in a variety of mediums and techniques.
You may volunteer to guest host by signing up at this yahoo group, which I check from time to time. Also by joining this group, you will receive one email a week when the diary is posted.

Author Anna Hrachovec even has a mochimochi web page with even more ideas! In case the UFO, human beans, squirrel with wheels, pig with wigs, etc. isn't enough for you.
And there is a whole universe in teh google search!
I am head-over-heels in love with these little things!
What is so attractive about the miniature?
Many crafts have miniature version: quilts, doll houses, paintings, baking. They're all so darn cute. Faster to finish. Use less materials.
Do you make miniature anything? Does your craft or art have a miniature subdivision?

My progress this week:
On the Spontaneous Hat, I have one more cable row then I start the decreases for shaping the top of the hat. I am using Bernat Alpaca Blend, 70% acrylic and 30% alpaca. I think there is just enough woolishness in the alpaca to help the acrylic behave better during the cable rows. The fabric is soft when knitted, but seems a bit scratchy while being knitted.
