Goldie helps Ann tie Nurse Kelley's quilt
DavidW has suffered from AIDS for years. Recently, he has had other serious and troubling health challenges -- and there was a real fear that he might be developing leukemia. Needless to say, he was very upset by this and was feeling stunned and hopeless. Your love and messages for his Community Quilt have helped his mood enormously -- and I am very pleased to tell you that DavidW has learned that he does not have cancer. He is still not well and still needs a diagnosis and a treatment plan -- but he is very relieved that the problem is not cancer! And so are we.
Isn't Goldie a big help? She's a terrific Quilt Inspector and takes her work seriously!
Let us keep up the good work of community support and collect at least 34 more messages for his quilt (we need a total of 68 or 72 to make a pattern). Also, if you can donate toward the making of the quilt, here is a PayPal link -- or send me a message to get a snail mail address if you prefer to send a check.

I am thinking of you, David - escapee
Time is too slow for those who wait
Too swift for those who fear
Too long for those who grieve
Too short for those who rejoice
But, for those who love –
Time is eternity. Arizonablue

Love is a fabric that never fades, no matter how often it is washed in the waters of adversity and grief. Wrap yourself up in this love, dear friend ... we will never fail you. Love, Kelley
