5:30 PM PT: 28% of South Carolina is black. 99% of GOP primary votes were white.
5:31 PM PT: Ron Paul is yammering on and on and on and on and on... Everyone has cut away except for CNN.
5:31 PM PT (David Nir): As Taniel notes, a couple of stronger Romney areas still have a lot of their votes left uncounted. But our straight linear projection doesn't see them helping Mitt much. It puts Newt at 39-29 over Mitt, as opposed to his 41-26 lead right now.
