Long time, first time
I am compiling a list of WLS Chicago 890 AM Rush Sponsors on today's show. I am also placing calls to local advertisers. Most have been very receptive to my concerns. A few have been indifferent. One was very hostile and angry.
Illinois Foreclosure Relief ran a spot in hour one of the Rush Show today. I called to ask about their continued support of the show. The "gentleman" who answered the phone, Valentine, was incredibly rude and hostile. He hung-up twice and told me he did not have time for this liberal BS. Valentine also claimed to be the owner and would not allow me to speak with anyone else in the office.
I did a brief search and learned that this company is actually owned by Mr. Adam Dayan (President). I called once again and asked for Mr. Dayan. I could hear him speaking to/laughing with Mr. Dayan in the background. Apparently these two gentlemen who represent Illinois Foreclosure Relief think that the sexual degradation and abuse of American Women is a big joke that "they do not have time for" - Please help them find some time.
Please let these two know that calling a majority of American women Sluts and prostitutes in not OK or Funny. A horrible outfit.

1:24 PM PT: My brother just called after reading my post. It seems the boys ducked-out this afternoon and they now have a woman named Gina answering the phone (without identifying the company). When my brother asked her if her employers held the opinion that all women who use contraceptives are sluts and prostitutes? She answered "Absolutely they do". He then asked her if she held these opinions. Reply: "Absolutely I do."
At least they are honest and unapologetic about calling our girlfriends, sisters, wives, mothers "sluts and prostitutes".
Wow - Simply Wow.
4:06 PM PT: Over the past several hours, Mr. Dayan (President of Illinois Foreclosure Relief) and I have exchanged several emails regarding the advertising issue. It appears that he is now willing to discuss the matter in a positive and professional fashion. We have a call scheduled for tomorrow morning. Hopefully this situation can be quickly resolved without further disruption to Mr. Dayan's business.
I believe further calls to this company MAY be unnecessary. I will update this post following our call.
With his permission, I am posting his recent reply:
"Nick, is this really necessary? How or better yet why would you possibly portray me in that false light based on where a third party marketing company places advertisements. Especially when I personally cannot even stand Rush Limbaugh either to begin with? That is defamatory. Rather than engage in a war with you which will very quickly and easily escalate, how about we get on a call to discuss further. "
Tue Mar 06, 2012 at 12:31 PM PT: Good News - It seems that the whole issue with Illinois Foreclosure Relief was a big mix-up that resulted in a "barrage" of calls yesterday. Mr. Dayan has assured me that neither he nor his staff agrees with or supports the recent comments of the drug addled fat man. Mr. Dayan further went on to inform me that he has instructed his ad buyer to cease any further advertising with El Bobo. It seems to have been down to tone-deafness and perhaps arrogance but, not bad intentions.
A fair amount of collateral damage has been done; however, this is damage that would have been avoided had Mr. Dayan been able to put on his big boy pants yesterday.
Let's stop the calls now - Keep moving, nothing to see here.
