I just received an e-mail from the Elizabeth Warren campaign. After explaining that the Brown and Warren campaigns had made a "Peoples' Pledge" to keep out special interest ads, the campaign explained that a pro-Mitt Romney PAC was found to have spent some money on Google ads supporting Brown, and that his campaign had agreed to donate 50% of the value of the ads to a charity of their choice.
The question was "What charity do you think should be the recipient?"
I suggested Planned Parenthood. Perhaps you may consider the same should you receive the e-mail.
12:09 AM PT: Well, I guess I wasn't clear enough in my suggestion. I know there are a lot of great charities out there. My point was that with Republicans taking the ax to women's health, and pushing controversies with Planned Parenthood, what better way to make use of Scott Brown's penalty money than Planned Parenthood?
10:25 AM PT: Well I must say there are some good ideas in the comments. Perhaps such a flagrant "in your face" is not the best idea. Still, it was hard to resist.
