I got home several hours ago from a Union Cab ride in Madison...along the way, I asked my cabbie how much he hated Scott Walker and what our Governer was doing to our state. He was appalled by what has transpired in the last 16 months.  This cab driver has been a United States citizen living in Madison for the past 16 years and has never once voted in his life. He has three children in the public education system and wants Walker gone without any hesitation.  Thanks to my prodding along the ride, he and his wife will now be heading down to the City/County building this next week to register and vote for the very first voting for Tom Barrett and Mahlon Mitchell. IT'S NOT THAT FUCKING HARD TO CONVINCE PEOPLE TO VOTE SCOTT WALKER'S CROOKED, HEARTLESS DUMBASS OUT OF OFFICE!!! Please...I am begging you all...speak with every ordinary man or woman you meet. Knock on every door in a middle or lower class neighborhood that you possibly can.  Scott Walker has probably fucked every single one of them over. If you want to contribute, just keep speaking truth to power and talking with people who think their voice or vote doesn't matter. There are WAY MORE OF US THAN THEM!!!

They want us to believe in the polls...well, how about this fact: President Obama received nearly 1.7 million votes in 2008 in Wisconsin and, in case you didn't know, Scott Walker only received 1.1 million votes in 2010...then fucked our state over and lost a bunch of support from Republicans, while simulataneously infuriating an entire populaton of "non-voters," many of whom did not vote or were not yet eligible to vote in 2008, either. The Republican Governors' Association and the Wisconsin Manufacturers' Association and the NRA and the "Americans" for ''Prosperity" and all of the other extremists pumping tens of millions of dollars of advertising into our state  don't want you to think about that. Charles Franklin and Marquette University want you to think this race is neck and neck so as to discourage those who typically wouldn't vote or never have voted, from voting.  They want to divide and conquer us...but WE ARE ONE!!

We are the people you see on the streets...we drive your cab...we clean up after your table at the restaurant...we hang out by Lady Forward and sing songs of resistance...we have a beer at the local watering hole...and scariest of all...we are ELIGIBLE TO VOTE!!  The first rule of Karl Rovian Vote Club is...pretend that massive amount of people doesn't exist. The second rule of Karl Rovian Vote Club is...don't ever speak of that massive amount of people under any circumstances. The third rule of Karl Rovian Vote Club is...pretend that widespread voter fraud is rampant among that massive group of citizens...the fouth rule of Karl Rovian Vote Club is...keep that massive amount of people from turning into voting citizens by any means...the fifth rule of Karl Rovian Vote Club is...don't speak about Karl Rovian Vote Club.

We aren't the 99% for no fucking reason...get out into the fucking streets...don't stop talking about this until we vote the fascists out of office!! We have at least a million more of us in this state than Walker has supporters...we just need to reach them and we know we have the power, the knowledge  and the motivation to do so.  SCREW THE POLLS!!  We have a database on the Government Accountability Board's website with over 930,000 names that cared enough to see Scott Walker out of office that they signed a petition while demanding their constitutionally protected redress of grievances.  The right-wing attack dogs want to use it to for a witch hunt to go after those who signed the petition...or to go after those who MAY have signed the petition.  LET'S USE IT TO WIN THIS ELECTION!  Look up the names and addresses of as many people as possible that signed the petitions that you personally circulated, reach out to them and knock on their doors.  Let them know that not only are we still fighting for them four to six months later, but that we did not forget about them and we're there to finish the job.  This is Wisconsin and the whole world is truly watching.  Let's give those right-wing nut jobs something to actually talk about...and make them fucking tremble along the way.  The only way we lose if if we give up...and I will fucking die before I do that...FORWARD!!!

9:58 AM PT: I apologize to anyone who comments on this diary that I have to leave and won't be available to respond.  I wouldn't typically do this but I have to go to work and canvass for the next six hours discouraging people from voting for Walker under any circumstances and ENCOURAGING them to vote for Tom Barrett.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
