As you know, I am very interested in what Romney has to say to Hispanics, especially on the immigration matter.
But I am still not hearing anything really specific for Hispanic Americans to take away and say....."Hmm, yeah, ok, That is what you are going to do. Okay I get it, you are going to help with this matter in this way. I understand."
But no.
I don't understand what he is going to do, just that he doesn't like the way Obama did it.
If he is elected he will do something, but we won't know till we vote him in. Huh?

but still didn't answer the question of what he would propose to do with the millions of illegal immigrants currently living in the United States.
But on the fate of other illegal immigrants, including the youths now protected by Obama's executive order, he offered only a vague promise to do something. "Some people have asked if I will let stand the president's executive action," he said. "The answer is that I will put in place my own long-term solution that will replace and supersede the president's temporary measure." What that solution would be, he didn't say.
"He had really some very good and well thought-out proposals to improve legal immigration," Ana Navarro, a Republican consultant in Florida who is active on Hispanic issues, said after hearing Romney's remarks. "But I'm afraid people also wanted to hear his proposal to deal with the undocumented already here and his permanent solution for DREAM Act kids. After this speech, I'm still left wondering exactly what those details are."
Ana Navarro is supposed to be "One of the state's top experts on Hispanic politics in the GOP"

Hispanic Americans are not stupid. Hispanic American voters are not illegal either so immigration policy is not the end all and be all. We are not a one issue group. On the other hand, we see that he made an effort to speak to the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials.
But repeated "googling" for something that points to what Romney had to say to this group, I find very little of any substance.
"keeping families together" by deporting them all at the same time? How?
I didn't hear an answer. I speak pretty good English. In fact, I speak the Queen's English as a Canadian, but I didn't hear anything said to the Hispanic community beyond a nice pat on the head. "See, I know you are there. Sure honey, sure, I will do something, now run along and be good. And er, vote for me." ("See, that was Romney's awsome outreach to Hispanics.) AWESOME!!!!!!!!! Woooo! ..... "What did he say exactly?"
WTF????
So he stands in front of very smart Hispanic Americans and says .........????????
So, we are stupid, cause we can't figure out what he said?
We too stupid to understand the details????
What? Can't he just talk to us and be specific?
We are American, just talk to us.
Apparently not.
