Just when we think there might be some liberal media left, our hopes are dashed.
In today's NYTimes article, written by Michael Luo and Kitty Bennett, the Massachusetts 2002 Document proving Mitt was still Bain active December 9th, 2002, and provided by Huffington Post, is conspicuously missing! Also missing is the information published on July 12th by the Boston Globe.
And this information is missing, too:
Mitt Romney's Signature Appears On Bain SEC Filings During Time He Said He Left Bain
Why would the New York Times softball this story by leaving out easily accessible, critical information any pajama'ed blogger can find? Is it sloppy journalism or bias?
New York Times article: In Tracing Romney’s Role at Bain, a Convoluted Timeline. The article concludes:
By August 2001, Mr. Romney had announced that he would not return to Bain Capital. Talk was already swirling about a bid for Massachusetts governor; behind the scenes, Mr. Romney was negotiating his final departure from Bain. Mr. Romney’s partners agreed to pay him a declining portion of the firm’s profits in buyout deals and other businesses for 10 years. The deal, signed in 2002, incorporated a payout formula reflecting his passive role in the firm from February 1999 forward, officials said.
The operative words are "officials said."
Show us the documents! We didn't ask Bain's leader to run for President. They don't seem to have a problem with Mitt's run. Therefore, Mitt's Bain must provide proof of what "officials said" and of what Mitt says. Mitt's been caught in too many untruths to expect the voters to believe what he and his own officials say.
Shame on the New York Times for such sloppy journalism. I hope you correct this and apologize.
Where's the proof that Mitt Romney is completely removed from all 70 of the SEC listed Bain entities?
The SEC lists 70 Bain entitities:
Show is all 70 documents, Mitt! Just call the kids you hired and tell them to comply.

I don't have a research team to go through all this stuff, but doesn't the NYTimes?
Huffington post found this Bain document dated December 9th, 2002.
THIS DOCUMENT DOESN'T SAY MITT QUIT!
The Boston Globe reported on July 12, 2012
Mitt Romney stayed at Bain 3 years longer than he stated
Firm’s 2002 filings identify him as CEO, though he said he left in 1999
A former SEC commissioner told the Globe that the SEC documents listing Romney as Bain’s chief executive between 1999 and 2002 cannot be dismissed so easily.
“You can’t say statements filed with the SEC are meaningless. This is a fact in an SEC filing,” said Roberta S. Karmel, now a professor at Brooklyn Law School.
“It doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to say he was technically in charge on paper but he had nothing to do with Bain’s operations,” Karmel continued. “Was he getting paid? He’s the sole stockholder. Are you telling me he owned the company but had no say in its investments?”
SO, NEW YORK TIMES, WHAT'S YOUR EXCUSE for such sloppy reporting? Are you bias? Or is your editor?
Mitt will undoubtedly release his tax returns. But will they go back to 1999?
And more importantly, where's the proof that Mitt hasn't pulled any Bain strings since his claim of RETROACTIVE RETIREMENT in 1999?
AND WHERE IS THE PROOF THAT MITT ISN'T STILL PULLING BAIN STRINGS?
