For a little comic relief, I thought I'd give being a Fox News Editor a go. Yes, Florida has suffered several frog invasions since January, 2011 but I am sure it is just a coincidence and that Rick Scott's election has nothing to do with these biblical scale events.

Killer Toads Invade Florida
The Bufo, also known as the Cane Toad, Giant Toad or Reef Toad, is a GINORMOUS toad that is killing small pets here with its deadly poison.
I know this from watching the local news...and when they do a teaser, "Giant frogs killing local pets" - well, that has a tendency to get your attention, which it did.
Here's a picture of one. You.Have.to.be.kidding. This is a BUFF Bugo and, yes, they now live in Florida.

Very creepy if you are Flo!

Jeepers 'peepers': Tiny frogs invade parts of Indian River County | Poll
By Elliott Jones
Florida Atlantic University biology professor Jon Moore also has been amazed by some of the late-season frog breeding, but he doesn’t expect the county to be blanketed with the 17 species of frogs and croaking toads that live in the area.
“It is not a plague of frogs,” he said.
Whew, it's not a plague! For Floridians.
It's his job to provide scientific reassurance.
But wait! The following year things get froggier.

After storms, frogs fill up Pasco woman's pool
NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. - They started showing up Sunday. Tadpoles are growing into tiny frogs, and infesting Caroline Whicker's backyard.
"They are all over the neighborhood. They are in the grass. They are all over the house. You can't get in and out of your doors," said Whicker.
The Pasco County Health Department says frogs can carry salmonella. So handling them is not a good idea. If you do, you should wash your hands.
OK, BY JULY, 2012 THE WORD PLAGUE IS INVOKED!

A Plague Of Frogs?
Erin Hawley
A St. Augustine, Florida neighborhood is weathering a plague of frogs.
Biblette Anderson's day starts with the same sounds each morning: frogs and the broom.
"Went out to take the dog out and they were everywhere," Anderson said. "It was just like there were a million of them out there."
She said the baby frogs appeared in her neighborhood last week.
"At first I looked, I couldn't really believe it," she said. "I was like, those are frogs."
She said they appear overnight.
"Like the whole sidewalk and driveway was covered," Anderson said. "It was literally covered with frogs."
I wonder if Ms. Anderson's name is pronounced Bible-ette?
Just in case you wake up and find your yard covered in frogs, Florida has a handy, dandy new product to help you identify them.
Identification Guide to the Frogs of Florida only $16.00
The Department of Wildlife Ecology & Conservation has some other interesting information, too.
Florida's Frogs
Florida has also been invaded by three species of non-native frogs. These frogs are native to tropical and sub-tropical habitats, and have been very successful in Florida's hospitable climate. These frogs are breeding in Florida, and we know that at least two are having impacts on our native wildlife and our quality of life.
For the epicurians among us, I found this real down home thread that will teach you how/when to gig frogs and how to cook them.
Gigging and Cooking Frogs Legs
Sauteed in butter, lots of garlic and white wine is all you need to know about frog legs.
Be careful and do not overcook.
Oh yeah, a crusty baguette to mop up the sauce.
A nice salad or some vine ripe tomatoes, sliced over buffalo mozzarella cheese with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar.
I know, there are many that wished Governor Rick Scott had been frog walked, but he is one of the lucky ones. He was able to buy his innocence, a mere $1.7 BILLION fine. Chump change, and the chumps elected him Governor. Really?
Whistleblowers Say Rick Scott Knew About Medicare Fraud
The pain this man wants to inflict on Floridians croaks me up.
Rick Scott on Medicaid expansion: If I can't steal it, Florida does not want it
Maybe that's why Rick Scott is saying no to Medicaid expansion:
Florida is not going to implement Obamacare. We are not going to expand Medicaid and we're not going to implement exchanges,'' Scott's spokesman Lane Wright told The Associated Press on Saturday.
