Sorry if this has already been mocked, but I feel the need to join in...

Joe Scarborough just can't resist a little hippy-bashing in his semi-apology to Nate Silver:

My liberal friends spent countless hours manically refreshing the “538” blog every three minutes or so throughout most of October seeking reassurance that President Obama would win. Water usage on the Upper West Side took a dip during that time when progressives realized that bathing regularly would keep them away from the site.
Have at it, Joe, because at least you say this:
But in the end, Nate Silver’s early predictions were right for several reasons.
Wait, come again?
That meant that Nate Silver got the election right.
Don't get too excited, hippies, liberals and other assorted Nate Silver fans, because you should have been listening to Joe this whole time:
These critics conveniently forget that I consistently predicted an Obama win throughout the year and even said on Election Day that the president’s stubborn lead in swing state polls would doom Romney.
Look on the bright side, Nate... Next time the undisputed champion of election predicting won't be so quick to dismiss you:
I was too tough on him and there’s a 84.398264% chance I will be less dismissive of his good work in the future.
Awww. How 'bout a hug?

My prediction:

There's a 101.34214% chance Joe Scarborough is a patronizing asshole.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
