Today's humorous irrelevancy is from my trip to Reykjavik. Is there anything funnier than a foreign product named "KRAP?"
Mmm! What could be better during a full-body soak in power plant waste water than a refreshing cup of berry-flavored KRAP? I'm not sure whether that's the name of the dispenser, or the name of the product being dispensed. But I had a smoothie, so I can say with certainty that I didn't have any KRAP, though it looked pretty good to me.
UPDATE: Hold the phone. Google translator says "krap" is Icelandic for "slush." Har har har! That's almost as good as "snow" in Farsi, which is apparently
"barf."
But yes, Iceland's Blue Lagoon spa is in fact filled with the waste water from the nearby geothermal power plant. And if you can believe that GMO food products are safe, then you can believe that waste water is therapeutic. And really, for less than six dollars admission, how wrong can you go?
Anyway, that's all irrelevant. If all goes well, we'll perhaps hear from Meteor Blades today, who's been saving it up for a discussion of the latest CIA stories, and perhaps more of this week's developments. Meteor Blades back on the air? Holy slush!
