Apparently, despite the right wing's gerrymandered stranglehold on the NCGA, "in North Carolina, left-wing nonprofit advocacy groups for decades have wielded an alarming amount of power in the media, state politics, and government," according to the new Civitas website "Mapping the Left." I'm personally disappointed to not be listed, but, if you're disappointed like me to have been omitted, never fear! There's a place for "additions," so you can recommend yourself to their list. Huzzah! Now I can join such radical groups as the Duke Energy Foundation, the AARP, Binkley Baptist Church and the Center for Responsible Lending!
