"I don't know which party to Vote for in 2016. And I’m serious because I asked myself, ‘Which party has helped me out the most in the last, I don’t know, 15 years, 20?’ And it was the Democrat [SIC] Party,” Webb lamented. “If it wasn’t for Obama and that Obamacare, I would still be working.”
“With Obamacare, I got to retire at age 50 because if it wasn’t for Obamacare, I would have had to work until I was 65 and get on Medicare because health insurance is expensive when you’ve got medical problems,” he continued.
...
“But you know, the Republican Party, they haven’t done nothing for me, man. Nothing,” he remarked. “So, I’m leaning toward voting for Hillary unless something major comes up. I don’t trust the Republicans anymore because they’re wanting to repeal the Obamacare. And I don’t want them to do that, man, because then I’ll have to go to work again. My life’s already planned out.”
“Just a tough decision,” Webb sighed. “I voted for Republicans for 32 years, I’m a charter member of my Tea Party Patriots chapter."
...
"Unless Republicans change, I may vote for Hillary."
And in response this just in from the RNC: "Ruh Roh!"
4:03 PM PT: More on this guy from Huffpo, which begs the question - Is he Trolling Democrats by playing the Welfare Card?
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/...
"Since Obama changed the rules, I took advantage of it and I quit my job and I got on Obamacare because I'm not going to work my ass off and pay higher taxes and pay higher insurance premiums just so I can pay for somebody else's health insurance while they're sitting on their ass at their house," Webb said. "So if anybody's going to be sitting on their ass at the house and getting their insurance paid for it's going to be my ass."
Webb has also written in the comments that he still believes Obamacare violates the Constitution, but "I made it work in my favor."
To those that believe this guy is playing us, maybe he is and maybe he isn't, but what it sounds like he's doing besides the idea of becoming his own little
Obama/Welfare Kinglet is that basically - He's Gone Galt!
He's dropped out as a contributor specifically to simply spite the system and let it all burn Galt-style, and when you look at it that way he's still pretty much staying true to his Paul Ryan the-poor-deserve-nothing-because-they're-just-lazy-but-hardworking-Americans-should-get-everything [while ignoring that the people that work the most difficult and Dirty Jobs! are generally the poorest!] Tea Baggin' Party Roots.
