I saw Reid this morning and he told me that they are very good to him but went on to say "I miss my Sissy's care." I have been Sis or Sissy to my brothers and niece all my life. Bernadette used to call me Aunt Sissy. Reid and I joke about why buy Papa John's pizza when you can have an Aunt Sissy's which tastes a whole lot better. Well in about 45 minutes I will go to the hospital and bring him home. Apparently they will schedule wound care to come and work with his legs and feet and keep them bandaged properly.
Just got off of the phone with a man from the Adaptables. I told him about our situation and since I can make a regular apartment work at this time he says to just take care of Reid and he will find us a place to live and moved over there. He is going to try and keep us in this neighborhood if he can. He will also be helping with the other issues once we are safely moved.
Again many thanks to all of you for your support. I will be calling some more of the support groups you suggested to see if I can get some help in taking care of Reid. We are going to get more therapy and see what we can do about upper body strength and hand dexterity. Every little bit would help. Plus being a senior citizen myself I'm going to see if there are people who can give me a hand once in a while.
At the moment I'm okay financially but depending on moving costs and renting a new place I may have to ask for help. However if you are looking for Mother's Days gifts please considering stopping by.
For those who have asked if I have PayPal I do at artbymichele@aol.com I use it for my store.
And again for those who have asked here is where I am selling things. You can find prints of my artwork and photography on my Fine Arts America account.

You can find my scarves for sale here.
I have a Pinterest account that also features my art and jewelry.
12:37 PM PT: I just got him home. We have a nurse, physical and occupational therapy coming. They are sending someone over tomorrow to see what options are available to help me care for Reid. This will help immensely and take a lot of stress off my shoulders.
