Not too long ago I read a diary about back pain. It's something I've had to deal with for most of my life. I was diagnosed with Scoliosis at a very young age (On top of everything else such as my problems with my left leg and of course, previously un-diagnosed Aspergers), and I never thought much of the pain I felt after being on my feet for a while. Then I started working.
I often found myself stooping while hanging on to something to mitigate some of the pain and pressure after an hour or 2 of work. One manager asked me what I was doing and I explained what was going on. His response was something along the lines of 'You're too young to be having back problems'. If I was on my feet for the entire shift, the pain would be so bad my back would start throbbing. I'd have no time to recover, of course because I'd work a shift the next morning, at least that's how it went at Publix.
Even with a day off I'd still have to recover from the shift the day before. 'Get a heating pad', one manager said. Yeah, that might have dealt with some of the symptoms, but not the root causes: The shock from my gait traveling from my left leg to my back and my terrible posture.
I've got a brace that keeps me from tripping over my left toes which I can't move even with a heel-cord operation and even with some inserts I still feel quite a lot of pain after walking. I even wake up with back pain some days. What does one do about it?
Advice welcome.

Just thought I'd clear that up.
