Texas police bash ‘unethical’ news station for airing video of cops killing unarmed suspect
Texas police upset that a local news station aired footage of Bexar County Sheriff’s deputies fatally shooting a man with hands up want the public to express outrage — at the news station.
Gilbert Flores, 41, can be seen in the cell phone video aired by KSAT standing outside his San Antonio-area home during a domestic violence call. He raises his hands over his head then abruptly crumples to the ground after he is apparently shot by deputies.
Now the cops are
claiming to have video showing Flores had a knife
And here we go with cops whitewashing the event
A second video
Authorities are examining the footage Thomas took and another video of the incident that has yet to be made public. The police have it and have not released it.
The second video shows Flores holding a knife as he's shot, a source with knowledge of the investigation told CNN on Wednesday.
So we are TOLD there is "another video" but they aren't releasing it yet, just releasing a "statement" from "somebody (unnamed) who has "seen the video".
What horseshit.
Cops are reeling from the increased scrutiny they have been "enjoying' since the assassination of Mike Brown and all the other innocent people they have executed, killed and or maimed. They don't want to change their ways, they don't want to be held accountable for their rampant criminal behavior and they insist on a right to kill people whenever and not be so much as asked to explain their actions.
If they DO have this video of the man holding "a knife", release it: stop making shit up, stop fucking lying.
Or just straighten the fuck up and do your jobs correctly and you won't have the world breathing down your porky necks.
Bexar County District Attorney Nicholas LaHood told CNN that the second video is "a better view to make an assessment on what happened. It is a closer view and a better angle."
He also characterized the second video as "troubling." He added that the FBI has joined the investigation into Flores' death. The San Antonio division of the FBI confirmed that it opened a civil rights investigation Tuesday, "to determine whether a civil rights violation took place as a result of a deputy willfully engaging in the use of excessive or unjustified force."
release the evidence or shut up.
