Happy Tuesday! It’s like a Monday, but without the shared cultural reassurance we get from commiseration.
We need a revolution in this country that will make it just as acceptable to hate Tuesdays as it is to hate Mondays. Of course, I could campaign to rehabilitate the reputation of Mondays, but that would just be crazy.
Anyway, it’s nothing a little primary shenanigans can’t fix. So let’s do this thing.
Listen LIVE right here at 9:00 AM ET!
From now on, it will cost you $1,000 per episode to listen to the Kagro in the Morning show on Daily Kos Radio. But for loyal readers of Daily Kos, we’ve reduced that price to... absolutely free!
Why would we make such an amazing offer? Reasons!
But perhaps you’re concerned that such a fantastic deal is too good to be true. That it’s unsustainable. Well, worry no more! We here at Daily Kos Radio will do anything to help set your mind at ease about sustainability, up to and including accepting your PayPal donations, or even recurring, monthly support! For you hipsters, we offer the same monthly option, but with a fancier name, through the KITM Patreon account!
There are thousands of you downloading the podcast and listening to the show live each day, five days a week. That’s about 20 shows each month, so on a per-show basis, mere pocket change from each listener is all it would take to turn this from a pleasant pastime into something my family wouldn’t shake their heads and sigh about.
Give it some thought, won’t you? Thanks!

David Waldman is a fan of Hopping Mad with Will McLeod and Arliss Bunny, and you will be too, when you listen to this week’s interview with Dr. William Spriggs, Chief Economist to the AFL-CIO! Ted Cruz gets more and more into spanking, which is what you’d expect from The Zodiac Killer, the lead singer of Stryper, or even Grandpa Munster… and especially this lady. Greg Dworkin reviews the White House Correspondents’ Dinner: Of course Obama was great, Larry Wilmore was too, though perhaps under-appreciated in the house. Ted Cruz manages to be even less-liked when he isn’t serial killing. Cruz probably can’t squeeze out a sufficient second in Indiana. IN Governor Mike Pence endorses Cruz, half-heartedly. Ted’s time is almost up. Sometimes it is more important on whom you reject, rather than whom you support. Republicans fight for the soul of, but first need to find the soul of, the Gop. On the Democratic side, Trump deals Clinton a winning card. Hillary Clinton starts shifting staff to concentrate on the General Election. Clinton is now raising more than Sanders. The 2016 election might not break spending records. Last week David and Joan McCarter predicted that James O’Keefe would take the bait on transgender restroom use and he did! David devotes a chunk of the show to the #GunFAIL phenomena of 99% law-abiding, rule-following, mistake-free, always-lucky gun carriers, when they face that accountability moment prospect of admitting that missing last percent.
