Following up on my late-night post of yesterday, which took a look a Bill Barr’s interference in the Roger Stone case (in addition to Michael Flynn’s), today’s post takes a deeper dive into the nitty details of exactly what Roger Stone did — to help get Donald Trump elected.
Files that were part of the Mueller Investigation were recently disclosed, which shine a blinding light on the kind of “dirty tricks” this life-long Trump fixer was really up to.
Business Insider sums up the startling disclosures this way:
• Roger Stone, a longtime friend and former top adviser to Donald Trump, allegedly ran a sprawling network of fake Facebook accounts starting in 2016, according to newly unsealed FBI search warrants.
• The search warrants, published in response to a joint petition from five news outlets, also report that Stone communicated with WikiLeaks' Julian Assange as early as 2017.
• A source identified as Stone's "right-hand man" told the FBI that Stone used the fake Facebook accounts to circulate WikiLeaks stories and, later, to defend himself against charges of Russian collusion.
[...]
Stone's alleged use of Facebook pages violates the social media's policy against coordinated inauthentic behavior. A Facebook spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

CNN summed up the Stone 2016 illicit-activities this way:
Investigators from former special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation told a judge that Trump political adviser Roger Stone orchestrated hundreds of fake Facebook accounts and bloggers to run a political influence scheme on social media in 2016, according to court documents from the Mueller investigation unsealed on Tuesday.
[...]
Stone's assistant, interviewed voluntarily by former special counsel Robert Mueller's investigators, said that, as part of his work for Stone, he bought "a couple hundred fake Facebook accounts" and that bloggers working for Stone sought to build what looked like real Facebook accounts to push information about the 2016 Russian hack of the Democrats, a search warrant unsealed on Tuesday stated.
[...]
At least one of the suspected Stone accounts was used from October 2016 to March 2017 to buy advertisements to push stories related to Russia and WikiLeaks, according to the warrant. Some social media messages from the accounts rebutted that the Russians were behind the online pseudonym Guccifer 2.0, which the US intelligence community has said was operated by Russian intelligence to disseminate hacked materials aimed at damaging Clinton's campaign.
[...]
Which leads us to the opening Question of this post:
If the sealed documents could talk, they would ask: "People Roger Stone was working for ..."
With the possible Jeopardy answers being: Who is Donald Trump? and Who is Vladimir Putin?

Well, the details documented in the Roger Stone case itself, seem to point at least one half of that Cheater’s Cabal … Once again from CNN:
Prosecutors showed line charts that visualized Stone's communications with top Trump officials. The lines spiked around key moments of the Democratic hack and WikiLeaks releases of the stolen data. In all, the prosecutors discussed several phone calls placed between Trump and Stone -- often around dates when the hacks were in the news.
That included a July 2016 conversation between Trump and Stone, apparently about what WikiLeaks had lined up for the autumn, ahead of the general election.
"After Mr. Trump got off the phone with Mr. Stone, what did Mr. Trump say?" prosecutor Aaron Zelinsky asked Gates.
"He indicated more information would be coming," Gates replied.
[...]
"The campaign had no official access to WikiLeaks or to Julian Assange, but Roger would be considered, if we needed, an access point -- an access point because he had implied or told me that he had a relationship with WikiLeaks and Julian Assange," Bannon testified.
And that leads to one more important question: Who did Julian Assange have a relationship with, besides Guccifer 2.0?
Because evidence gathered by the Intelligence Community and by the Mueller Investigation says:
All Guccifer roads lead to Russia, and its wide-ranging hacking campaign, which as a matter of fact, did help get the imminently-unqualified Donald Trump elected, to the most powerful Job in America.

The short answer to the Questions posed by today’s post could be summed up like this: Roger Stone was NOT working in the best interests of America, when he was orchestrating those hundreds of Fake Facebook accounts, to help put up smoke-screens and disinformation, in order to protect Vladimir Putin and his GRU agents’ ongoing attacks.
And THAT is the guy, Bill Barr just attempted to scrub the History Books for.
Roger, and Michael, and Donald Trump too, of course.
