No, not in so many words, but he has now essentially conceded...
Obama was right -- Romney's tax plan does not pay for itself through elimination of deductions alone. Romney concedes he is relying on the Laffer curve and the same argument Bush used to promote his tax cuts -- they pay for themselves through economic growth. They do not. Obama won this point.
Obama was right -- Romney's health plan does not cover preexisting conditions. Romney's staffers said as much after the debate.
Obama was right -- Romney does not have a plan for reducing the deficit, but only for increasing it. He announced a vast increase in military spending. He has been unable to point to anything close to that amount in spending reductions.
Romney has already conceded the debate on Obamacare -- after saying for months he wants to repeal it, he now says he likes almost everything in it, substantively.
Romney gave a foreign policy speech where he essentially proposed a program which proposed all the things Obama is already doing.
When will the press realize that, substantively, Romney is coming to Obama's position on many important issues as the election draws closer. Is that what someone does when they "won" a "debate?" Romney has been forced to pretend that he is ... Obama.
