I've huffed and I've puffed. Today I'm canvassing in Racine, WI. I'm taking my 17 year old son with me this morning and will update you guys with pictures as I do my part to put Wisconsin into the Obama win column on November 6th!!

A couple of days ago on my way home from work I was listening to NPR's On Point program panel discussion regarding the second Presidential debate. I was so frustrated with the so called "intellectuals" discussing the state of affairs and how the economy is Romney's strongest argument against the President that I could puke. However, there was a caller who called in to give his opinion and it was a thing of beauty. If there is ANYONE on the Obama election team who is helping with speeches they should give "carl" a call even the moderators thought so...take a listen after the jump

This is a quick diary and information is still coming out but it seems like according to the Nation Magazine http://www.thenation.com/... and other news outlets Mitt Romney made anywhere from $15 to 115 million dollars off of the backs of taxpayers:

President Obama is going to WIN. I believe that and I have faith in that. I had hoped that this week would never come but in the back of my mind I knew it would. This is the week that MSM with a big assist from President Obama turned the Presidential race into a horserace. For anyone who is in denial that this is truly a race please see PPP Poll and http://2012.talkingpointsmemo.com/.... We can quibble with cross-tabs and the like but the bottom line is this race is tightening and we're going to have to work our butts off to make sure President Obama is sworn into office January 20, 2013. In the meantime, for sanity sake this would be a good week to do the following....

In 2008 I was a mess during the election process. I'd never paid as close attention to an election my entire life. I watched every televised speech of President Obama that by the end of the election cycle I could recite those speeches word for word, I started my day watching C-SPAN, Joe in the Morning, listening to progressive radio (shout out to http://chicagosprogressivetalk.com/) on the ride to work, then streamed it all day long while at work, looking at Huffington Post, TPM, & Daily Kos throughout the day as well as listening to NPR on the way home from work. Once, I'd get home I would put the channel on MSNBC for the rest of the evening. I knew I would have a good day or a bad day based on the release of poll numbers. I mean it was too too much. I learned alot since 2008 and I'd like to share some of what I've learned so that this election cycle will reduce stress & blood pressure levels. They are as follows:

For those of you who don't believe the prison industrial complex is real here is a case that will blow your minds. I know it blew my mind. However, I wasn't shocked. A judge was convicted in a kids for cash scheme. Throwing KIDS in jail for cash. No wonder why the US has more people in prison than in any other industrialized nation.

Presently the US has more people (2.1 million) in prison than any other country in the world. In fact we recently exceeded China, which has 1.6 million people in prison, despite having four times the population. Statistics also show that nearly half (one million) of our prison population are inside for non-violent offenses.

That's one way of being able to compete with China, India, Vietnam's labor force. I'm hoping that the fiasco that is going on in Wisconsin will wake up the American people so that they will see that the shrinking of the middle class is no accident and push to take our country back from those who only want to steal our treasures.

Rushed Diary...I/m TERRIFIED!! The Teaparty movement is not a grass roots movement but it is a powerful movmement. They are trying to roll back all the progress that has been made over the last 50 years. We got to STAND UP!! We seem to be losing this battle. I'm late to the party I didn't know about the HKonJ rally in NC until today. This is a rally to support the people of America through education!!
