Daily Kos has been in the news lately, and you are one of thousands who are visiting our site for the first time. Maybe you are a little skeptical of what you hear on CNN and Fox News. Maybe you are just curious what these blogs are all about. In any case, welcome!
Daily Kos is a community of writers, thinkers, and jokers with an interest in politics. Each of us writes, thinks, and jokes about whatever interests us, then everyone else writes, thinks, & jokes about whatever that person said. There's a system of ratings and recommendations that you will figure out later, that lets the community vote on who is saying the most interesting things.
