Good news: a recent poll conducted by Hamilton Campaigns confirms what the Kos commissioned poll found – this race is a statistical dead heat.
The poll shows Joe Garcia receiving 42 percent of the vote and the incumbent, Mario Diaz-Balart, receving 45 percent if the election were held today. With just three weeks to go before the election, 13 percent remain undecided. The poll has a margin of error of ±4.4 percentage points.
From the release:
"Joe Garcia has closed the gap on his opponent," said Andy Diaz, spokesman for Joe Garcia. "But there is still plenty of work to be done. We’re going to continue to walk the neighborhoods and talk to the voters of Florida 25 to get Joe’s message of positive change out there."
The full polling memo is available here.
Despite weeks of false, negative attacks, Mario Diaz-Balart is losing ground. Thanks to all of your help, we have been able to fight back against Mario's lies and communicate Joe's vision for change.
But this race is going to be very close, and every small contribution helps (especially when Bush is in town raising thousands for Mario Diaz-Balart).
Thanks!
