"It is my commitment, working with the Florida delegation and the campaigns, to find a fair solution so that Florida will be seated -- and we are confident enough that we have reserved hotel rooms for the delegates from Florida in Denver," he said.
The DNC has, at long last, given some kind of a green light to those of us in Florida who want our voices heard.
"The Democratic Party will probably confirm and ratify whatever the two candidates are comfortable with. It's up to the two candidates to be comfortable with a solution. It's not that difficult," [Rep. Robert Wexler, D-Florida] said.
The last obstacle facing the ratification of the Florida primary is the Obama campaign. In my last diary, I pointed out the staggering hypocrisy of the positions held against seating the Florida delegates, and it would seem since then one of the most important figures in the situation has reversed course.
With the DNC signing off, the Clinton campaign actively pushing for the FL votes to be counted, can the Obama camp really afford the political consequences of entrenched denial of democracy?
