Active U.S. Hate Groups -- Map

The Southern Poverty Law Center counted 1,007 active hate groups in the United States in 2012. Only organizations and their chapters known to be active during 2012 are included.
All hate groups have beliefs or practices that attack or malign an entire class of people, typically for their immutable characteristics.

What gets me about these haters is their double standards. They typically pass judgment on others, as if someone appointed them
judge, jury, and the meters of justice.
Instead of "practicing forgiveness" as their Religious training once taught them to do -- they now "practice serving extra helpings of hate" -- with heaping "sides of rage" instead.
They typically expect "the objects" of their hatred to live up to some "unexplained standards" -- that they themselves have no hope of ever reaching. And then they steam and fume at "the others," when they show no inclination of ever living up the haters' purity standards.
Here's the latest report on those Hate-induced trendlines, which are disturbingly on the rise:
The Year in Hate and Extremism
Intelligence Report, Spring 2013, Issue Number: 149
by Mark Potok, Senior Fellow, Southern Poverty Law Center.
I wrote a bit more about it yesterday, but frankly am out of 'creative juice' for another re-write, destined to drift into obscurity:
Hate Government Incompetence? Probably not as much as these Guys

You guys can write the punchlines on this uniquely Americana news, if you're so inclined -- the sparring ring is open. So knock yourself out.
Or not. ... It's a "free country" -- at least it used to be.
