I assume that short-sheeting is something you all recognize as a practical joke from your camp days. But maybe not. You kids and your touch-tone phones!
Anyway, I have almost no blood left from all the mosquitoes, so even if I wanted to (and had an Internet connection), I couldn't treat you to a new show today. So instead, here's a "classic" Kagro in the Morning show, from June 26, 2014:
Greg Dworkin's morning roundup focuses on the MS run-off. Vox = "the left," apparently. Todd Akin's back. Plan B on the IRS "scandal": missing e-mails they hope you won't notice don't actually bear on the first "scandal." Never mind that lost e-mails didn't bother them before. Likewise, what the U.S. Archivist has to say interests them now, but didn't then. Armando joins in for a quick update and discussion of the day's SCOTUS rulings on recess appointments and abortion clinic buffer zones. Catching up on the "no-fly list" ruling, and common threads it shares on modern technology with yesterday's cell phone search decision.

SUPPORT SERIOUSLY GOOD MEDIA!
Hey, we put on a pretty good show, if I do say so myself, and we do it five days a week for two hours a day. I think we provide a product that's pretty unique in the radio and podcasting sphere, and we go into stories at a level of detail that's hard to find elsewhere, even right here at Daily Kos. "We'll have to leave it there," is something you'll never hear.
Does that sound like media you'd like to help support? OK, well, would you do it anyway? If the Kagro in the Morning show is a fun, important or medically necessary part of your day, consider a adding your ongoing support for what we do, through my Recurrency.us page.

Our minds are still very much on the Charleston shootings, to no one's surprise. Greg Dworkin rounded up a selection of stories to help us continue to deal with the issues swirling around it. The latest entry in the "Republicans don't get empathy" narrative. John Lott gets SC gun law wrong, which of course means he's disqualified from the debate, then covers it up. Attacking Girl Scouts used to be a political punchline, but America has made it real. Final chapter on the TX gold bugs. Gene Weingarten on "branding" in journalism. Nobody loves stealing property more than the guardians of property rights.
