The World of Speed, a motorsports museum in Wilsonville, Oregon, had a display entitled A Tale of Two Demons which featured two Dodge Demons, one from 1971 and one from 2018.
The first Demon came out in 1971, at the end of the muscle car era. According to the display:
“An option for the base model Dart, the Demon had all the go-fast goodies you’d get in a muscle car, except for the Hemi engine. It was still cool and quick with the mighty little 340; with its four-speed transmission, it was a perfect stoplight racer.”
The Dodge Demon was a short-lived success and today is a collector car.
In 2018, Dodge brought the Demon back as a limited edition. Both models were displayed side-by-side at the World of Speed.
