I admit, I clicked on 'Glue eating' Marjorie Taylor Greene buried for tripling down on comparing vaccination advocates to Nazis mainly to read the collection of tweets condemning her for this latest projectile vomiting of bigotry. It also led to choice snarky comments (click to enlarge):

She laps up this publicity like a a starved dog being fed a bowl of filet mignon juice.

I am as guilty as anyone else who can write about her for an audience of more than myself:

I am decidedly not the media. 187 people took the poll on that story, but on consideration I’m thinking now that if only the mainstream media just ignored her maybe she’d just disappear like a mystical villain dissolves into black dust in a fantasy movie or melting like the Wicked Witch in Oz (watch video).

Perhaps Greene, a glutton for gobbling up attention, could end up like Mr. Creosote as she feeds her insatiable hunger for the spotlight:

UPDATE: On considering that CarmeninVermont wrote about knowing our enemy I think there is a good reason for the media to cover her. Not only do I agree with this wisdom from Sun Tzu (“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”) but I also think that the more people in her district read about her being off the rails the more likely it is they will vote for someone who will hopefully run against her in the primary for 2022.

It’s true that I would derive personal satisfaction of her having an ignominious meltdown into madness that would force her into self-imposed exile as long as she remains as a embarrassment to the entire GOP it helps expose the kind of bizarre bigotry they tolerate among their members.
