During the 1920s, automobiles were no longer just the playthings of the rich and famous but were available to middle class Americans. Fords were becoming more common among average Americans. During the period, automobile tourism began to flourish as evidenced by the number of models designated as Touring.
The Model T was Ford’s first popular automobile, and it was produced for 18 years. From 1921 to 1927, the Model T was the primary automobile that Ford produced.
