One of the exhibits in the Dayton Aviation Heritage National Park in Dayton, Ohio features the Frank Hale grocery store in the Wright neighborhood. In 1900, Frank Hale opened a grocery store which sold canned goods, tea, coffee, and other goods to working men and women of the neighborhood.
According to the Museum:
“Today, the grocery store has been carefully recreated with historic furnishings so that it resembles what it looked like during the early 1900s, when the Wright brothers and Paul Laurence Dunbar shopped here.”
