Today, the McCain campaign displayed its "Maverick" approach to ignoring copyright laws for political gain by using Van Halen's song "Right Now" yet again despite being asked to stop by the band.
Just now, moments before Obama's big speech, Faux News showed clips of Reverend Wright "Damn America" video clip.
The LA Times' lead on-line story at the moment is an account, in their words of "how the nature and timing of McCain's divorce from his first wife alienated friends such as the Reagans and how his version of events don't match court documents". Whether the various media outlets pickup this story will be an interesting gague on whether or not the MSM deems McCain's character issues as being relevant to the campaign. My guess is that they will treat this as if it never happened as it doesn't play into their narrative of McCain as the straight talk candidate.
Proof had a "meeting" with several Democratic leaders last Friday to discuss the Iraq war but an exchange of ideas was the last thing Bush had in mind.
