I remember growing up in the South. I remember getting into fight constantly because kids would start with my friends, and it wasn't until years later that I understood that they did it because my friends were black.
Honestly, it seemed like such a stupid reason to fight, I could never make heads or tales of it: even in the third grade, I knew that we were all the same: what was wrong with these people?
Was it culture? Were they beaten at home, and have anger to piss-off? Were they just stupid? What, exactly, was it? I've wondered then, and I wonder now, and I still don't really know.
But. I did know where they grew these people(Lubbuck, Tx). I just didn't know why. Well, it seems that I was wrong about where they grew them.: that is, Lubbuck isn't the only place they sprout..more on the fold.
