It's really over. You are just too far behind. You can demand a recount. You can get up, each day, in the morning to relive the loss and the pain.
People will ask, every day, why you don't just do the gracious thing and let it be over so that others can move on with their lives.
As the days waste away, your case, your loss, your defeat, will be discussed on the news shows. Your mistakes will be rehashed.
You won't have to start anything new until this is all resolved but you will also be unable to move on...
You won't be lonely. You will continue to be linked as a failed member to the system you are eventually moving away from (at least for now). Your colleagues will ask how you are and then go on to the next exciting element in their futures. People will worry about you and say "Poor George."
