Good afternoon,
I attended the Kerry town hall meeting this morning and had some general comments/rants about it that I wanted to share with the group. First of all, the event was scheduled for 8 am... and he didn't begin speaking until 10:00 am. There was no organization in the morning-- no definition for any of the lines or who had tickets. It really was embarassing that whoever was in charge put on such a poor showing there. The Kerry email list did not mention anything about tickets and people were left wondering who had tickets, why weren't they covered in the email, as well as the odd parking arrangements.
Overall, I thought it was mostly a 4 hour waste of time, from when I got there at 7:15 to when I left at 11:15 am. However, Kerry did speak quite well answering questions and there is no doubt he has my vote. But the organization was so shoddy that I think it would implant seeds of doubt in the minds of undecided voters or the general public. I hope the Kerry campaign can clean up its act because that kind of wait is really unacceptable.
