The Chicago Tribune was responsible for at least 2 key election results last night: Kirk's senate win, and Dold's victory here in the 10th district. Both results were close enough that your paper's biased reporting and inaccurate editorials likely were enough to give the races to the Republican candidates.
I wonder how many of you believe that a newspaper, not through accurate reporting but through thinly veiled political campaigning, should play such a role. I certainly don't, and many of the thousands who've canceled their subscriptions in recent years probably agree with me. I'm finally canceling my subscription too. I can not, in good conscience, continue to support an organization which so actively contributes to the misinformation among voters.
