Tonight, John McCain takes his Maverick image before the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minn. Barack Obama takes his intellect before the anti-intellect that is Bill O'Reilly, and, somewhere, Sarah Palin is avoiding answering questions from the media.
So tonight, on this historic occasion, I again present to you a compendium of music and poetry inspired by the historic candidacy of Barack Obama, perhaps too qualified to be president of the United States (at least compared to the resident of the White House for the last 8 years).
I'm writing this while listening to Tom Ridge LIE his way through a speech introducing John McCain, who knows not "red or blue, but red white and blue."
