As if hired mercenaries in Iraq weren't bad enough, apparently Killer Special Forces Dolphins have escaped their confinement due to hurricane Katrina and are possibly roaming the Gulf in search of terrorists.
It may be the oddest tale to emerge from the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Armed dolphins, trained by the US military to shoot terrorists and pinpoint spies underwater, may be missing in the Gulf of Mexico.
It's really hard not to laugh, and even harder to try and make any kind of cogent analysis from this. My one immediate thought would be, is this the kind of thing BushCo is really spending money on instead of, oh I don't know, building levee's?
Don't get me wrong, dolphins are brilliant creatures and have evidently been used with great success to find underwater mines and such. But "toxic dart" guns?
