This is a liveblog, not Vietnam...there are rules!
Okay, just one, really: NO PICTURES!
As we all know, the public option amendments did not make it onto Baucus' travesty of a health care bill. And we all know why it didn't:
Max Baucus 2014
Kent Conrad 2012
Blanche Lincoln 2010
Thomas Carper 2012
The numbers next to them are their re-election dates. And just look at Blanche Lincoln's! My, my...her career could well be toast in a little over a year's time.
Let's call all these sellouts and remind them just how tenuous their positions are. Make sure to call Lincoln's attention to the fact that Arkansans favor the public option. She seems to need help in remembering they're her constituents, not BC/BS.
Similarly have fun when calling Conrad's and Carper's offices. 2012 isn't 2010, but neither is it that far off, really. Does anyone know of any polling for those states? Maybe remind Baucus that he represents some ridiculously small number of Americans, but even they want a public option.
And just for good measure, call the White House. And a nod of support for the Dems who voted correctly yesterday would be teh awesome.

And remember - you can also call the Senate Finance Committee and leave feedback there. It's your committee, no matter who sits on it.
Update [2009-9-30 15:17:41 by Cedwyn]: LOL
Blanche Lincoln is trailing most of her GOoPer opponents:
AR-Sen: Blanche Lincoln trails all GOP rivals, including no-name teabagger, in latest Rasmussen poll. Even if you don't trust Ras (and there's little reason to do so after their hard-shift to the Right this year), our own polling has shown Lincoln in trouble.
Her response has been to panic, shit on her constituents, and try to appeal to the teabagging set by becoming more Republican than many Republicans. Fine. But she's going to find that 1) few come to her rescue, and 2) even fewer will care when she loses. It'll be good riddance, actually.
Damn skippy! Definitely call and remind her of just what's at stake if she opposes the public option!
