Daily Kos is vibrant community in onto itself. But we also have a number of other communities that have been developed here over the years. There is a partial list of community blogs at dkosopedia, but I decided to start something similar for all the communities on Daily Kos. Call it a Community Calendar. So if you know of or write a community diary please list it bellow in the comments. I will then publish them on a regular basis once a month. Below are some Community Diaries I'm aware of.

That's my updated list. There is some overlap between community dairies, and topic rescues diaries, not sure if or how to draw a line on them. I also may arrange them by topic next month. Are communities fading on Daily Kos? I hope not! I think they provide a valuable space to learn and teach. Anyone thinking of starting a community let us know. It seems several popular ones such as "Kossacks under 35" and the "Music Room" are no longer with us. Also several niches like Latinos, Asians, and Jewish issues don't have a community "home" I could find. Please check out a new group or two each time you read this dairy.
