Yesterday I posted a diary that included a photo of President Obama getting wet during a rainy day with a title `When presidents lie`.The diary started out as I addressed the economic hardships befallen on the middle class by Obama`s initiatives support of the Republican`s assault on social security and food stamps.
I ended up pointing to a video of Immigrant-rights protesters confronting President Obama on Monday. Obama hears the discontent over immigration loud and clear, rebukes heckler interrupting his speech in San Francisco and demanding he use executive authority to halt all deportations, but he rebuked them and told them he doesn’t have that kind of power.
I come once again before you great kossacks seeking guidance on Immigration and what is means to you as an American citizen. What you read today in this diary should sound controversial to some, but not for others because what I say is out there, and has been for a while. I come to you for advise on what is and what is not conformity and fairness in Immigration reform for all those hiding in the shadows of this great nation.
My family and I are American Citizens. I was born in this country long before many of you were born. Or like I say it in other words, you were still in your father`s holster and the shot had not been fired yet. I have no personal gain on this issue that has wrapped its thorny and racist arms around my heart. But advocating for immigration reform on this terrrible broken immigration system grabbed my soul upon hearing the president`s latest lame excuse for not fixing this shit.
I have always agreed with those here who argue that immigrants who come here illegally and take jobs from us should be deported. Those who over-stay their visas or permits, commit crimes should not be granted clemency and be deported no matter if their families are broken up. We are a nation of laws as president Obama and the rest of this country have repeatedly said.
I agree with all of these arguments. I support these agruments as well and no matter the type of connections an illegal immigrant may have here in this county, ICE should deport them immediately if they have committed crimes in this country while here illegally.
Because of my dismay yesterday in hearing President Obama saying he has no power to stop deportations of those immigrants here who have not committed crimes, it saddens me that those protesters obviously did not know what I am about to put out here. It saddens me to think that perhaps I will sound like a DICK. You judge me my dear Kossack.
President Obama has his own baggage with illegal immigrants in his family.
Finding and examining the deportation orders of Illegal aliens Aunt Zeituni and Uncle Omar Onyango back to Kenya I get into deep thoughts into why no one here who like me are strong supporters of the rule of law, specifically, laws on what constitutes a violation by an immigrant requiring prompt deportation without questions asked to write about it.
Only crickets from the media.
Barack Obama’s illegal alien uncle is in the news again. Onyango Obama was scheduled to face a deportation hearing, right after his nephew made an important speech about immigration enforcement, as well as a “path to citizenship” for illegal aliens. (emphesis mine)
Again, I make no accusations that President Barrack Obama`s fingers are tangled in the story that follows below:
I am just asking.
Uncle Omar Onyango Obama: Deportation Hearing Scheduled for Tomorrow Dec. 3rd.
.....(Open Thread).....
I would really appreciate your opinion after you read this open thread as to whether Omar should be deported, or allowed to continue in this country after his illegal escapades, or if you think he deserves a pass because of President Obama or just because you think so? Your answer will be my clue to what it means to say `the rule of law".
The uncle’s hearing comes one day after President Obama called for a path to US citizenship for the 11 million illegal immigrants in the United States, as long as they don’t have serious criminal records. …
Critics have said that Onyango Obama, who is the president’s father’s half-brother, appears to be getting special treatment. He was released from immigration detention quickly after his arrest, despite the outstanding deportation order, and then secured a federal work permit and a state hardship driver’s license, since his own was temporarily revoked, so that he could return to work at a liquor store. …
It is ironic that arrested on August 2011 on drunken driving charges, he is given a driver`s license and allowed all those goodies, including the child`s dream of running amok in the candy store, Omar is allowed to go back to his liquor store where his favorite candies adorn his liquor store shelves.
Obama’s immigration history is unclear because immigration court files are closed to the public. According to the earlier judges’ decisions obtained by the Globe, an immigration judge first ordered him deported in October 1986 because he had no legal basis to stay and no connection to the United States such as US-born children.
Mr. Omar Onyango deserves my credit for his personal battle to stay in this country at that time when he had no legal basis and no connection to the United State such as a US-born children. Immediately following his arrest he told police "I think I will call the White House".
Unfortunately, it’s not going to be a timely adjudication .
Despite a deportation order issued against him 21 years ago, Obama, a 68-year-old liquor store manager, stayed in Massachusetts, living and working undetected until Framingham police arrested him in August 2011 on drunken driving charges. He later admitted to sufficient facts in the case and was sentenced to a year’s probation that ends in March.
Omar`s deportation case is quaint compared to that of
Aunt Zeituni Onyango who lived in public housing as an illegal immigrant for a time because the "system" took advantage of her, she said in a recent interview.
"I didn't ask for it; they gave it to me," Onyango said in an interview with CBS affiliate WBZ-TV, scheduled to air tonight and Tuesday night.
"Ask your system," she continued, unapologetically, when asked about the situation. "I didn't create it or vote for it. Go and ask your system."
Onyango, the half-sister of Mr. Obama's late father, moved from Kenya to the United States in 2000. She first applied for asylum in 2002, citing violence in Kenya, according to the Associated Press. Onyango's request was rejected in 2004, but she stayed in the country, living in public housing in Boston. WBZ-TV reports that Onyango fell seriously ill but she did not have enough money to travel home after recovering.
When it was reported in 2008 that Onyango was possibly in the country illegally, Mr. Obama said he had no knowledge of her status. As a presidential candidate, Mr. Obama told CBS News' Katie Couric that he was not against the possible deportation of his aunt. "If she has violated laws, then those laws have to be obeyed," he said. "We are a nation of laws."
Obama's aunt Zeituni had been exploiting the hospitality of the United States for she made a $260 campaign contribution to her nephew's presidential bid. The Obama Campaign accepted it anyway. Like all the other illegal contributions we all know that illegal undocumented immigrants violate federal law by making political contributions. Even if its all in the family.
I write this diary because I was amazed by president Obama spoken misconstrued legal authority to stop the deportations that leaves many of my people broken and in shame, while his own enjoy the fruits of being free. They people get to stay after committing serious crimes while being in the country illegally.
Does anyone has an answer for me? Why?
I leave you with the links to Aunt Zeituni and Uncle Omar Onyango for your reading. Please note that Aunt Zeituni has been granted asylum to stay in this country. It appears that she convinced immigration officials that it was the system`s fault that she was illegal, and that it was the responsibility of these officials to make her legal. It is also reported that asylum was granted due to publicity in her case. Meh.
As for Uncle Omar. I will follow his case and let you know if he too blames the system, or if perhaps a wrinkle is found by his high powered lawyers to allow him asylum as well. Meh, meh.
I will ask you if our folks, every illegal immigrant with family members in this country legally are being treated differently than the Obama people. Has the system been at fault for their illegal presence here in the United States of Freaking America?
