Everyone needs to take note of the President of United States, stating the obvious message that yours truly advocated for all Democrats this season:
I’ve said before, I will always work with anyone who is willing to make this law work even better. But the debate over repealing this law is over. The Affordable Care Act is here to stay. (Applause.)
I wrote a couple of weeks ago:
The issue of Obamacare, by the law, by the voters, and by consumers, is settled. Republican politicians may want to re-litigate Obamacare again, but as far as the courts and the government is concerned this is a done deal. Democrats need to make this case as it is the only case that needs be made for Obamacare. That is how you unite Democrats around the message for Obamacare. It's the law, move on. If Republicans want to talk about the past, let them. Democrats should be talking about the future. We've got a lot of problems to fix.
Since I wrote that, there are now polls backing me up. The American people are buying it and tired of talking about it. Its here, its done, its over. President Obama agrees.
There is nothing any Democrat can do about Republicans who hate ObamaCare and hate President Obama. This is a given. You cant convince these people with ObamaCare Lite. What you can do is not debate what is settled and instead move on to other business. Other business that our people care about. Fuck republicans. Let em bitch about ObamaCare until the cows come home...were done here. This thing is here to stay. Face it.
The only thing that unites the GOP is ObamaCare, so they have no choice but to talk about it endlessly. We can do nothing about that. Except...force them to talk about something else. Because as soon as they do, they are split.
