OK, it’s Friday. We made it!
There was a story or two I meant to get to yesterday, in order to get out in front of the situation before it boiled over, so we’d all be ready and look super-smart when it finally did.
But then it kind of did. Still, I suspect there’s still time to get up to speed before everyone else does.
Oh, and it’s Iran and Saud-ish Arabia. And Yemen. In case you were wondering.
Well, that’s jinxed it. Now we’ll never get to it. Still, might as well listen in and see what it is that becomes so fascinating that it distracts me from World War III.
Listen LIVE right here at 9:00 AM ET!

SUPPORT SERIOUSLY GOOD MEDIA!
Hey, we put on a pretty good show, if I do say so myself, and we do it five days a week for two hours a day. I think we provide a product that's pretty unique in the radio and podcasting sphere, and we go into stories at a level of detail that's hard to find elsewhere, even right here at Daily Kos. "We'll have to leave it there," is something you'll never hear. Does that sound like media you'd like to help support? OK, well, would you do it anyway? If the Kagro in the Morning show is a fun, important or medically necessary part of your day, consider adding your ongoing support for what we do, through my Recurrency.us page.

Good news — David Waldman’s liberal mocking has the Bundy Militia on the run, or at least driven them into hiding. Tonight on CNN: A one-hour live town hall with President Barack Obama on gun control at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. Is this the beginning of the end of the gun lobby’s con game? Greg Dworkin wonders if this is the last stand of the GOP Dodo before extinction. Alabama Nutter/Justice Roy Moore halts same-sex marriages in his state, saying that probate judges have a duty to not issue marriage licenses for same-sex couples. A small band of determined legal academics set out to persuade the Supreme Court to undo the New Deal—and have almost won. Marco Rubio isn’t going anywhere fast, might have to rig the game. Quiz: Can you spot the natural-born citizen? KITM Michigan Corespondent Rosalyn MacGregor reports on the Flint Water Crisis, a story she introduced on this show several months ago, now a well known scandal, and target of a federal investigation. How could this ever happen? Who could have done this? Armando calls in to note the focus on issues on the Democratic side of the presidential race, but wishes for more actual details, and less sloganeering. Bernie Sanders pledged to break up big banks within the first year in office, calling for a reinstatement of Glass-Steagall, and continuing his division with Hillary Clinton advisor, Gary Gensler. As Gensler and Sanders extend their debate, Armando wishes for less politics and more policy in the candidate’s stands. In an unintended, pretty funny twist, managers of stores in Texas that sell alcohol could lose their liquor license if they fail to check gun-toting customer’s open carry licenses.
