The DK Quilt Guild had a very busy & productive year. In 2013, we were involved with many charity quilts. The DKQG also had really good diaries about various topics.

Melanie in IA had a photo diary: Obama in Quilts. This diary had quilts & short history of political & patriotic quilts.
madmommy had a diary: Sewing room on the cheap. This diary had good ideas on how to organize our sewing space.

glorificus had a fun & humorous diary: Laughter is Lighter than Feathers.
Melanie in IA had a good practical diary: Be Prepared. This diary had very good sensible ideas for the quilting process, and other practical ideas for us all.
Sara R had a diary about a charity project: Dr. Cara Barker's Love Project: Quilt for the Siblings of Sandy Hook Victims. This diary is about Dr. Cara Barker's special project.

Sara R had a diary about a charity project: Palo Alto VA wheelchair quilts. These quilts were for VA patients at the Spinal Cord Injury Unit.
BeadLady had a diary: The Okiciyap Quilt. This was one of the first diaries to raise funds for the Okiciyap Food Pantry on the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation in South Dakota.

Aji had a diary: Feeding the Body, Feeding the Spirit: Okiciyap (We Help). This diary was part of the blogathon to help raise funds for the Okiciyap Food Pantry. It also had beautiful poetic descriptions of each quilt block.

weck had a diary: A Very Happy Ending! Thank You DK!. Thanking the DK Quilt Guild & DK Community for the donations, and for a successful fundraising blogathon. It also includes the Okiciyap's quilt blocks, and quotes from each quilter.
leu2500 had a diary: Don't Fear the Triangles. This diary had wonderful examples & tutorials for making triangles.

leu2500 had a diary: Digital Learning. This diary had many wonderful resources to learn new sewing & quilting methods.
winifred3 had a diary: Miniature Foundation Piecing on Muslin. This diary's tutorial & piecing method was very good.
leu2500 had a photodiary: Mountain Quiltfest Quilt Show. Wonderful quilts that inspired us.

winifred3 had a diary: A Simple Quilt Top. winifred3 had a tutorial & described her process for the VA Wheelchair Quilt Project.
Sara R had a diary: DK Quilt Guild Delivers Quilts to the Palo Alto VA Hospital. This diary had photos and chronicled the delivery of the quilts for the Spinal Cord Injury Unit at the Palo Alto VA Hospital.

pucklady had a diary: Dementia Quilts. This diary described & had a tutorial to sew specialized quilts for dementia patients.

winifred3 had a diary: Pot Holders, pieced, appliqued and quilted. Very cute & small projects with a tutorial in this diary.
navajo had a diary: Daily Kos Okiciayp Quilt Mission: Accomplished! Photo & Video Heavy. This diary describes the delivery of the Okiciyap Quilt to the Food Pantry & visit to the wacipi.
leu2500 had a diary: Precision Piecing-QSTs. This diary had very useful hints & a tutorial.

BeadLady had a diary: How, Why and What to Quilt!. This diary is an excellent resource. It also had beautiful photos of BeadLady's work.

weck had a diary: My Trip to Bailey's Sewing Center. This diary was about a sewing machine manufacturer based in New York.

winifred had a diary: Strip & Twist Autumn Table Runner. This diary has a good project with tutorial.

trkingmomoe had a diary: Quilted Falling Leaves Bath Mat. Good diary with a different small project & tutorial.
trkingmomoe had two diaries: The History of The New York Beauty Quilt and Rose of Sharon/Ohio Rose Quilt - A short History. Both diaries had wonderful descriptions & history of these classic quilt designs.
Pam from Calif had a diary: Christmas Quilts~Photo Diary. This diary had fun examples of Holiday quilts.
