As I understand it, after a little light research, the only LEGAL way to watch every Republican candidate, representatives of the people, in their first highly anticipated and widely publicized live debate, is to pay Fox News.
I did an earlier diary for the first debate so I won't rehash, but the fact of the matter is I cannot post a link to a legal way to watch this event online from a US site while watching in the US if you do not have an account with a cable service.
You can look up Fox sponsored sites if you wish, but besides Pay to Play, there are "Sneak to Peek" options as well as 100% legal "liveblog" style reporting. Here's a few suggestions:

Thanks to sceptical observer for the link!
While I question (just the "sniff test:" I have no facts either way) the "legality" of watching links like this, I'll leave it up to the viewer how to proceed. It's an EU site and copyright is all over the place. Your guess is as good as mine.
PorridgeGun offered this suggestion for watching:
______
Kos live threads + Majority Report live stream. Sam Seder and his producers are making a night of it, doing a live show and aftershow with reaction from Cliff Schecter (while being half in the bag):

I'm already looking forward to reading the wonkette live threads of the GOTP debate later on.

During the previous debate, this was reported:

where do we go?

Several people that watched the first debate really enjoyed themselves. Every Fox must get paid.
UPDATE: Looks like they are back:
And here's a diary about Netroots Radio's coverage:

While it disturbs me deeply that I must pay to legally watch this event live, and after and afternoon of rumination about it, I got nothin'.
It's legal, it's allowed, it's happening and it sucks.
I'll be sneaking a peek and updating this diary with more/better links as they are available. Hopefully there will be a live blog. If you are inclined, please feel free to do so here. Eye tipe 2 slo.
See you in the comments.
UPDATE: I quote: "Sky News Live. This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Fox News Network, LLC."
So they got this one, too.
Youtube link to Sky tv.

The irony...
And this diary from Egberto Willies:
Donald Trump spars with Rand Paul as he says he will not rule out running as an independent

Thu Aug 06, 2015 at 7:57 PM PT: Well, as others have attested in the comments below, Fox News has been very aggressive about taking down any site covering this with audio or video, even international sites, so I'm shutting it down here as well.
I have no further suggestions and admit defeat.
While perfectly legal, I don't like one bit that I have to pay to see this debate, though it's premature demise online may have been a bit of good luck for us all.
Have a good evening.
I'm out.
